Thank you for taking this seriously, really listenning to the problem. It isn’t self evident.
I am so sorry, I got tied up in work and then completely forgot to get back to you.
Did what you asked today.
- Subscribed in incognito window with a diffrent address.
- Clicked the Confirm the Email button in the mail and it took me to the WordPress.com site account, Manage subscribed?sites screen.
- Got a welcom email confirming subscription.
So this time it worked fine.
However, I would have expected to be sent to a page acknowledging subscription, stating that an email was sent, – not to the WordPress.com account. Perhaps with a link to the Manage subscribed?sites screen.
Please let me know that you have finished with this issue, and I will take down the pictues.

I did not say it appears “wrongfully”. I said, very specifically, that it appears OVER THE LINKS. The placement of the pop up is right over the links, hiding them behind it.
Yes, it appears only when the mouse passes over Copy link. But if the mouse even touches a little above the Copy link of a wrong page or post on its way to the Copy link, for example, one above the correct one, the pop-up appears and is placed OVER THE LINKS of the correct one. So one must move the mouse away, wait for the window to disappear, and then, very carefully, hover over the correct Copy link. THAT is very annoying.
If you moved the PLACEMENT of the pop up a bit to the right, so it doesn’t hide the links behind it, one could just move the mouse to the corect location even if it passed over the wrong one – in a single motion.
I hope that is clear now.

Thank you for getting back to me.
So, I went to a different browser, got the same results.
Then, because it worked for you, it occurred to me that this might be because I am logged in. So I logged out and even tried again in Incognito window.
This time I got the confirmation on the screen and an email asking to confirm. But then comes a bit of a saga. I think some things are not working as they should, so I will give the chain of events as detailed as possible. I uploaded screenshots on the site and will place links.
- I clicked the Confirm the Email button in the mail and it took me to the WordPress.com site account, I was logged in. As I rarely go there, it took me a while to find how to log out.
- I clicked again the Confirm the Email button in the mail and it took me to this page: https://wordpress.com/log-in/link/use. There was this notice: https://olddesignshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Screenshot-2023-12-22-115932.png
- Clicked on the Try again button, got this notice on the same page: https://olddesignshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Screenshot-2023-12-22-120123.png

- Went back to refresh emails in Outlook. Got 2 new emails.
- Email confirming that I have subscribed and welcoming me to the blog: https://olddesignshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Screenshot-2023-12-22-120908.png. This means that although I got a NOTICE that the confirmation link expired – IT STILL CONFIRMED and all the searching was redundant. If that happens to a subscriber it WILL be very annoying.
- Email acknowledging my attempt to confirm from the Manage Subscriptions page: https://olddesignshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Screenshot-2023-12-22-121137.png. This brings me to the same conclusion as the previous email.
- Went to the Subscribers on the website, Jetplack plugin. The list confirmed that I have subscribed about 20 minutes before. ONce again conrifming that the whole go here click there would be a waste of time for a subscriber.
- Another thing: clicked on the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy links in the first email and got to some generic pages, not our pages on the blog. How do I change that to OUR pages?

Is there a way not to exclude but to have something that allows this site to see the links? Any link can be broken, and this is a rather crucial thing, as this is our paid product. We would want the links to be checked and to know when to fix any truly broken ones.
This is a new problem. Is there a way aound it?

I have updated the plugin and there is a change. It no longer sends to the URL I said (himepage with /# at the end). Instead, it sends to URL

or 5 at the end, depending on which widget I chose to try – in the sidebar or the footer.But there is no subscription, no email is sent, no subscriber added.

I do not have errors, and I don’t even have the option you are talking about (at all). It would be nice if people would actually read the issues before they attached their own.

I figured ot how to remove all the small ones and then the new ones are replacing them, but it really wasn’t simple or straightforward, and demanded several regenerations, deletions etc.

But now I have another problem, was just about to make a question.
I have made, again as I previously had, the related posts in the posts, AND a widget in the footer. The thing is, I need the posts set up differently in the widget than in the post. The number of posts 6 and not 4, no titles, size.
I changed the thumbnail size by CSS, but for some reason, there is empty space after each one, and they go down.
Can you please help with it?

I apologize that I am pestering you so. But the theme guy don’t help me do far, so I have to solve it in another way.
I installed a plugin for custom pagination today, that seems to have class. But somehow I am unable to make it work in expeptions, as yet.
Can you pleade have a look at the page and see if there is a class to chose?

I was asking for your help. I don’t know if there is or not a class for posts. I see a lot of classes, but don’t understand which one is the right one.
So I was asking if you can help me see whether there IS a class to use, and ponpoint it. Can you please look?
