I had the same problem with my theme. I am using Eleven40 (Genesis Framework). I noticed that it was not happening only for a single theme. The problem has to be in the plugins you are using. Deactivate all the plugin, wait for an hour and open your site. The problem should be solved. For my case the problem was there in the Cache Plugin.
