Yeah, I have heard about htaccess but didn’t want to mess with htaccess, so I just went back to normal. Thanks for your help ??

I just fixed the issue because I was using custom structure instead of post name on permalinks. I chose custom structure to remove the category from the URL, but that was the issue with other pages showing the 404 not found.
