Thanks so much for your answer!I tried! but if I take I out it all collapses right after clicking. I’ll try to explain again, it’s difficult and my English is not so good..
—-I have a menu built like this:

sub-menu

sub-menu—- When all sub-menus are closed looks like this:

Main-manu—-When I click first main-menu item + first sub-menu item does this:

sub-menu (and now we are here in this page)

Main-manu—- HERE IS THE PROBLEM – When I click second main-menu item, does this:

sub-menu (since we are here in this page, it keeps open and doesn’t collapse)

I’m quite new to WordPress, actually my case is a bit different. I didn’t use element or do build the site.I had fully customized my website exactly as I wanted.
Not sure if this is related or not but after clicking on “save changes” at settings–general it said the website was broken and couldn’t save changes anymore. I can actually successfully change the website title and it works, but then, menus, header and other things, is not working.
I have been checking other themes, but ocean is perfect for me and would really like to use it.also, publish checking is checked. any ideas?
