In reply to: [Gutenberg] Editor ErrorI’ve been complaining about this error for weeks. The last 4 versions of the plugin have this error but there is no support here.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”Neither of the latest two versions of the Gutenberg plugin (including 8.2.1) solve this problem. I can’t use the plugin at all now! Need some help here!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”Today I decided to re-enable the Gutenberg plugin and I immediately got the same error.
Someone please look into this. Thanks.

Hope you are safe and well, Ajay!

In reply to: “Media upload failed” after upgrade to 5.4.1Okay, I stumbled upon the solution. This situation is may be unique to me but here is the info in case someone has the same problem.
I host on Codero use Plesk. This problem first occurred a couple of days ago. On that day an automatic Plesk update failed and support had to manually install it.
Then I realized that all 6 of my sites all had the same image uploading problem.
Thinking this might be a memory issue with PHP, I went in and checked the PHP settings of each domain. I wanted to make sure all of them were set to the latest version of PHP (v7.3.17) offered by Plesk and 256M of memory.
MovieDebuts.com already had these settings but just for the heck of it I hit APPLY to re-apply the settings. That fixed the image uploading problem!
I went into my other domains and re-applied those settings and they starting working again, too. I’m thinking that the last Plesk upgrade (which failed the first time) may have lost these settings.
So if you see the error I posted, make sure you have a recent version of Plesk and set PHP to 256M of memory.

In reply to: “Media upload failed” after upgrade to 5.4.1I tried both solutions and they failed. According to some people in support area of that plugin, these solutions stopped working in WordPress 5.4.
Ajay,
After disabling my plugins one at a time without success, I ran across a discussion about this on the WP External Links WordPress support page. The issue is caused by a conflict between WP External Links and Site Kit by Google and it still isn’t resolved.
Deleting both of those plugins eliminated the problem so I think it’s safe to say that it doesn’t have anything to do with the great Top Ten plugin!
Thanks as always for your support and concern.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Search & Replace in GutenbergThis is my #1 required feature. I actually have to revert back to TinyMCE to do it now.
Well, I discovered that being logged in as Admin is when the problem occurs. I don’t get it.
Bryan
Well, I’m sorry to bother you with this but it turns out the problem only occurs when I am logged in as Admin on the site. I know it makes no sense.
Bryan
I enabled WP External Links and you can see the problem in TODAY’S MOST POPULAR ARTICLES in my right sidebar.
Here’s one interesting thing. I tried three browsers and the problem only occurs in Chrome. I turned off all my extension and that didn’t help.
Please let me know what you think. I also sent this info to the guys from WP External Links.
Okay, please check out my site now. I’ve enabled your app.
You can see the problem by clicking on the links in the right sidebar, “TODAY’S MOST POPULAR ARTICLES”
This is the Top Ten app I mentioned.
I did some testing and noticed that this problem seems to occur only in Chrome. I turned off all my extensions so I’m not sure what’s happening.
Thanks for checking.
I enabled only WP External Links and made sure it was set to only external links.
I set Top 10 settings to rel=nofollow.
Neither of those solved the problem. But now that I’ve taken a closer look it seems to be the theme that’s missing.
I was going to leave it you to check but I noticed that there are admin links in the code.
Bryan
Renee,
I upgraded your plugin and reconnected PageSpeed and so far so good.
Yes, deactivating PageSpeed made the problem go away. PageSpeed never working right anyway, it took way to0 long to report anything and would often give up. Thanks.
