In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] CloudFlare API errorNevermind. I was testing something before and had Cloudflare ‘paused’ for that domain & forgot to turn it back on. Fixed.

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Mentions API, 1.0.3 and commentsThought someone should say thanks for your efforts. Personally looking forward to 1.1 because of the Comments features.
I only have use for it for the fan page. Others may also want it for the personal profile.
You are right in that I could just open up my Facebook page and post a status update ‘manually’ though that requires that I either open up a browser tab each time & enter in the URL or keep the tab permanently open. Not to mention, I also post updates to Twitter and Pinterest so that’s just more tabs.
It’s just a huge convenience. WP to Twitter is a plugin that makes this seamless and I’d highly recommend modeling how this component works with that plugin. It means I have one less tab open.
I do 20 post updates a day so it’s all about speed and convenience each time I post.
Thanks!
AdamFor me, I have 36,000 posts in one of my custom post types and WordPress was loading them all at once. By saving a bookmark to my bookmarks toolbar with a search result (so that I don’t have to click to the post type main edit screen), I don’t have the problem anymore.
W3TC doesn’t appear to be able to handle massive admin requests.
And WordPress doesn’t appear to be able to handle massive post tables.
Disabled all other plugins and no change. I discovered the 256mb memory limit in wp-admin which corresponds to the error message above. The only solutions are to optimize the query, increase the wp-admin memory limit or use a different caching plugin. Two of those require modifying the core code but I think it’s ok where it’s just a small backend tweak. I think that’s less of a hassle than finding another plugin that works like super cache, caches db queries and utilizes APC like this one does and configuring it.
I upped it to 400 and still no luck. Maybe there is a setting in W3 Total Cache plugin files that is overriding my Apache php.ini settings?
I can load the page without this plugin enabled so you’re saying that I need to up the setting (currently 240mb on 768mb RAM server) to make it load with this plugin enabled?

In reply to: “Press This” ProblemsWorked like a charm, Parrothead! Using 3.0 & HostGator. Note that a while back I had to call Hostgator to get this whitelisted for some reason.
Not sure why I had an issue with this on my WPMU install. Probably something about my server config but I had to change the directory from wordpress-popular-posts to just popular-posts. The issue was that I just couldn’t get access to php/ajax-processor.php for some reason. Permissions were set properly in all places.
just incase that happens to anyone else…
I will of course ditch this one and upgrade when Ikki implements. Thank you, Ronald!

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Unable To Post With Version 0.9.3Upgraded to the 4/4/09 file. When I try to save or publish a post at first, I get the same exact message as Wagerrard. Even though I post a few lines and WordPress saves the post automatically just fine. However, if I go back to the post, and save or publish, I dont see the same message, it saves/publishes just fine.
This occurs on half on and off settings as well as when cache rebuild is turned off.
It stops if I deactivate the plugin.
I also cant do anything with my referral stats. Pages just load but once I deactivate, the stats charts once again load.
I don’t do this to complain so much as I hope this info leads to a solution. We appreciate your hard work on this plugin, Donncha.
