Thank you, I have found the AWPCP Plugin and installed it, sadly the only problem I have there is that the search/category facility is really limited, people can only search for one criteria. My website is going to have horse for sale and people would have to search for a number of criteria such as height, breed, age etc! Its so frustrating finding something that does what I need! I will have a look at the above link.

Crisis over, I have sorted it by removing the index.html file!

I just thought I would add the other pages load fine, it is just the home page, I have uploaded it through filezilla, checked the database etc and all looks fine but for some reason when I go into the dashboard and look at the pages section everything is showing as automatically published when I installed the template except the home page. Has anyone else come across this… I simply can’t see where to publish the home page!

Hi, thank you. I have just managed to sort it out using the ‘Page Links To’ plugin. When editing the page I can now point the page to the News and Announcements category page URL so clicking on the News and Announcements tab takes you directly to the News and Announcements Category page. Now I have my two post pages, with separate content, on the tab and my ‘About’ Page as my home.

Seems to work well ??

oh and its version 3.5 wordpress, working with the theme 2011 with a childtheme plugin if that makes any difference?

When I enter the URL now (www.equiviews.co.uk/blog/) it takes me to my home page and I can log into my admin account, but when I click on the links to my other pages or try to open any of my posts on that site it just doesnt recognise the link, I have looked at the url addresses in the wordpress editor for each page and they are correct (contain/blog/), I have tried clicking ‘update’ nothing! I have also as a test tried to create another page, this does not show up either! Am pulling my hair out here, please help me!

Hi there, thank you so much, I went into my database and changed the url… that has worked but only for the home page… all the other pages still come up with the same message when you click on them… So part way there but any ideas for the other pages?
