Ok that makes sense Daniel. We’ve got pitch forms enabled, but I didn’t notice it loading there when I was debugging do to some minify stuff we did with W3 Total Cache.

Yeah if you compose a new post in the dashboard, and hit “preview” before its published, instead of seeing what the post would look like fully formatted when it goes live, you see the assignment desk functionality, which really doesn’t make much sense.

When we have someone inserting images, formatting tables, changing fonts, etc. we need to be able to have them preview what those posts will look like live, before actually publishing them life.

Thanks Daniel, we’ve got it live on a production site now, and are very excited about it. Looking forward to a fix.

Ok thanks. I figured that’s what it probably was, but didn’t know if there was some cool new screengrab/presentation program out there I wasn’t aware of.

This would be great, anyone ever come up with a way to make it happen?

Cool I appreciate it. We’ve got it integrated into a site that’s about to go live (assuming we can get this permlink issue hashed out).

Btw: I do have network on, but have open assignment deployed on the primary blog only.

Hey Daniel. Using wordpress 3.03 I turned all plugins off except the ones recommended for install with Open Assignment (edit flow etc).

I’m playing with it now, it’s definitely a permlink issue.

If permlink is set to default behavior everything works fine
https://DOMAIN.com/?p=123

Anything other than that, for example
/content/%category%/%postname%

All posts redirect to the earliest pitch in the database.

I take that back, after making and approving new pitches, the newest pitch still does override all other posts.

Yup, same problem in 3.0.2

Checked the database, still not creating tables on activation or re-activation.

Problem still exists in 3.0.1
