In reply to: [Photo Express for Google] Photoswipe navigationI don’t have the full-screen option enabled, cause I’m only displaying 600px images.
Can’t test it right now. I’ll post an update tonight.
BTW: I don’t see any full-screen issue on your site…

In reply to: [Photo Express for Google] Photoswipe navigationlawchristopher could it be caused by servercaching? Refreshing the page removes the “ghost” image on top of the menu again.

In reply to: [Photo Express for Google] Photoswipe navigationthe proper controls but they vanished
Are you sure that’s not by design? On my site they disappear when you navigate with the arrow keys and become visable again when you move the mouse. Just like on Photoswipe.com
I may have had the same issue with the options. I (thought) I switched them on, but they didn’t showed up. After I tried again it remained okay.
Didn’t mention it in my previous reply, thought it was my own mistake…

In reply to: [Photo Express for Google] Photoswipe navigationUsing the new Photoswipe will give the PEfG-plug-in a real boost!
This plug-in shows some crops of images on the masonary-page. Sometimes these are a bit weird crops.
This may not be the correct place to post them, so forgive me, but I’ve two feature requests:
Don’t let the plug-in crop images, and display them just like the masonay at Google. Less important but very useful I would like to control the height of the masonary rows.
Did I already say I’m very happy that you’re working on this plug-in? Thanks!

In reply to: [Photo Express for Google] Photoswipe navigationHope, you get it fixed soon. Currently running nearly 10.000 images in over 50 albums with your plugin and apart of the Photoswipe button it runs great.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [TwentyTwenty] "Before & After" Side TextThanks for this great plugin!
@samroderick: you can remove the “before” and “after” text in
/wp-content/plugins/twentytwenty/public/assets/css/twentytwenty.css
modify line 102-110 to:
.twentytwenty-before-label { opacity: 0; } .twentytwenty-before-label:before { content: ""; } .twentytwenty-after-label { opacity: 0; } .twentytwenty-after-label:before { content: ""; }
But it would be nice to modify it for individual B/A sliders.

In reply to: 404 hits on /mypostname/&The IP’s are different and not mine. I also got a lot of attacks from Italy.
I’ll give the debugger a try. Thanks for the support.

In reply to: using web upload from Lightroom 5I assume you know the filenames of the jpg’s you’ve uploaded. connect to your site and try a (remote) search with filezilla.
BTW 1.3MB for a jpg on your site is hugh and it will really slow your site down. Take a look at Smush-it or EWWW image optimizer to optimize your images for the web.

In reply to: 404 hits on /mypostname/&@rollingwolf I’ve enabled it on, but i can also block the source IP when a specified url is hit. So when you hit https://mydomainname.com/mypostname/& you’ll be blocked immediately. But I need to be sure these are not legal users who hit this urls because of some misconfiguration or bug.
Glad it works for you G4USB1.
And a warm applause for thhake and dabesa for their contribution. Keep us updated guys.
I also prefer leaving my 1000’s of photos at Picasa and use private albums, but I the author of this plug-in doesn’t even monitor this forum anymore. And a good looking, recently updated +G/Picasa plugin is hard to find.
Found a paid plugin at Themeforest: Nova Gallery but according to a request 9 months ago, it doesn’t support private albums. The author said: “Private Picasa galleries cannot be handled by this plugin. I may have a look at this feature in the future.”
I’ll give it a try and ask the author if private albums are expected.
@onix777
I’m currently testing a move to Flickr. Other G+/Picasa plugins don’t work for me and/or are too old and not maintained.I really like and want the image masonry/wall used by G+ and Flickr.
But so far I’ve only found Flickr Justified Gallery a plugin that can display the wall with public album, but I would like to use private album.
When your interested I can post updates in this forum.
Hmmmm. I had both 403 and 404 errors and solved it by making the G+ albums temp public. I also had a few pages that wouldn’t appear after the mod, but I don’t remember whether this were 403 or 404 error pages.
I first mod my settings in the plugin fromBblog to User.
“Google+ Express access level Blog User”
I first thought it was caching. But refreshing didn’t solve it quickly enough. In the meanwhile I opened the post, clicked the Picasa and Google Plus Express button on top of the post. Entered my username and clicked the album shortcode and saved the post.
Maybe that can help you too.
