Sorry for the post – got it working

I’m having the same issue, inserting <!–column–>, wipes out the shortcode on the page. Sorry to see that this has never been addressed.

This was an issue with the thumbnail size in the media settings and the functions file not being the same.

With some further playing it starts working when I say display on all pages, but doesn’t work at all for just the home page. I’ve now set it so it doesn’t show up on the other main pages, but this is a pain. What am I missing to just have it show up on the main page?

Looks like you have a bad theme, or one that has not been updated properly. If you can get FTP access, navigate to the wp-content/themes folder and delete the catalyst theme.

Then at least you’ll be back where you started.

Yes it is possible. When you’re in edit page of each post, you can un-check the ‘allow comments’ box under Discussion.

If you don’t see that option, look to the very top right and click the arrow by Screen Options and check Discussion, so it shows up under the main edit screen.

I’m having same issue. Logged into CC just fine, but plugin says I don’t have a valid account. Have uninstalled completely, will try again tomorrow.

I was able to solve this issue by adding a height to the CSS div. On a similar note, I have a different site where the Next and Previous page arrows were not showing properly. Adding a width of 25px to the .gallery .thumnail_col a.next and .gallery .thumnail_col a.prev divs fixed this. Now if I can only remember this when this plugin upgrades and this fix gets wiped out…

OK, first I would like to apologize for the hasty vote. A bunch of things went wrong, this was one of them. While everything was working when in testing; it suddenly wasn’t when going live. Why the PHP issue decided until then to give me grief, I do not know, but that was the issue and it is working now.

Now, it’s your turn to apologize to me for your extremely unnecessary and rude reply. While I may not have done the research I should have, I never stated that I knew everything and it was certainly no reason for your sarcasm and bullying attitude. It’s attitudes like this that give all of IT a bad name and certainly goes against the whole open community in WordPress. I stated a problem and indeed you gave me an answer. Thank you, that was all that was needed.

I’d like to update this, it appears that it’s the TinyMCE Advanced plugin that is causing the new Linking screen to not work. Once that is disabled, it does work.

Interesting. The sites I updated yesterday are now finally showing the new Link screen. The one I updated today is still not, despite clearing the cache or using a browser that has never been logged in before.
The only thing that is different is a complete re-boot of my machine and time.

I am using the Visual editor (as opposed to HTML) the linking pop-up is exactly the same as before.
