oh bummer! I was sure there would be an existing plugin for this sort of thing. Guess I will have to look into building something custom.

I took a look at both of those plugins and correct me if I am wrong but it looks like they just track admin area activity like editing, deleting a page etc. I am looking for something specifically to track when wordpress users view a page. The client is only interested in what pages or posts their users have viewed.

do either of these plugins track page views by wordpress users?

i ended up uninstalling wordpress and installing version 2.1 and now it works. but i am afraid to upgrade to 2.2 now that i have 2.1 working.

can anyone help me out here? i would really like to get this working.

i also just tried to import my blog from blogger and it takes me to the google page to authorize access to my account then when i click Grant Access, it takes me back to a wordpress page that says:

Could not connect to https://www.google.com
There was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:

yea – 2.2, i just downloaded it yesterday.

well then you are lucky – i wish mine woudl work like that.

can anyine comment on this? this very frustrting and unless i can get the themes working – wordpress will be useless to me.
