If you cannot access the UpdraftPlus dashboard, then you can find the log file in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory via FTP or your hosts’ file manager.Best Wishes,

Apologies for the late response.
Probably your server has stopped the process due to low server resources.
As a workaround you can download the files directly from your remote storage and upload it in the “Backup/Restore” tab > click the “uploads backup files” link and drop the files.
After upload, click rescan local storage to see the updated backup list.

You can enabled the “Delete local backups” option to only keep the backups on your remote storage. You can find this setting in the UpdraftPlus “Settings” tab > Show Expert Settings.
If you have a busy website or it gets new updates everyday then daily backup is fine.

Just to clarify the UpdraftPlus Backup menu is missing, is that correct?
If yes, can you try to re-install the plugin? You will not lose your backups in the process.
