BryleHi,
To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the full backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here. Also can you please try to Wipe settings from UpdraftPlus > Advanced tools > Wipe settings, Click Wipe settings button. Then re-setup your GoogleDrive remote storage.
Kind Regards,

BryleHi,
Could you try to temporarily deactivate all other plugins? Does the issue persists if you do that?I just want to check if this is not due to cache or security plugin conflict.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Backup (Not finished)Hi,
The backup appears to have been timed out or killed.
Can you ask your host/server admin to increase your server resources? Such as I/O limit, maximum_execution_timeout and site memory. Also could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.
To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb save your settings and run a new process. Thanks,
BryleHi,
You can support this feature here – https://updraftplus.com/feature-requests/

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] UpdraftPlus: restore faledHi,
To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the full restoration log only?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
You can send the log file and copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )Kind Regards,
BryleHi,
The error usually means that on your webserver there is a security module which is blocking requests from UpdraftPlus, such as mod_security in Apache. You should speak to your webserver administrator (e.g. web hosting company) to ask them how to turn it off, or how to allow the requests that it is blocking.
Kind Regards

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the backup log?
This log can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus dashboard.

BryleHi,
To make a backup and download it to your PC (or an external USB drive attached to your PC), you can do this in two steps:
1) Press the “Backup Now” button on the UpdraftPlus dashboard
2) When the backup has completed, click on the “Existing Backups” tab, and download the backup from there.

BryleYou’ll need to manually delete all backup files stored on your remote storage, as they are not automatically removed.
