The problem started again today and the Facebook counts are down to zero. I also sent an e-mail to [email protected].

Thanks. I left it alone to see what would happen. This morning when I checked, the Facebook counts were back to normal.

Thanks for the reply, Steve. I called my host and the rep was very helpful. It turns out the wp-config file for some reason turned blank while I was updating plug-ins so he restored it from a previous version and everything is fixed now.

Hi, my cache was disabled so it could not have been the cache. Yes, I’ve had the facebook app for a while now. Plugin was working great until yesterday when the facebook counts reverted to zero. But, this morning’s update fixed the problem so many thanks for the fast action! Really appreciated.

All of my posts are also showing zero Facebook counts just now when I checked this afternoon.

The plug in is on a test site that is always under construction. It is where I test themes and plug ins. When I customize a plug in the way I want it to look then I will activate it it on a live site.

Thank you. I pasted it in the custom CSS and it changed the footer background color, but I also wanted to change the background color of the footer widget area. The background of the footer widget area is still dark grey and it’s so masculine. Do you know how to change that? I would send you a link, but the theme is on a test site where I test themes and plug ins so it’s permanently under construction.

Also, once I’m able to change the background color of the footer widget area, I would need to change the color of the fonts to a darker color so that the fonts would be visible. Do you know how to change the font color as well, just in the footer widget area?

Hi Alex,
I tried changing the_excerpt to the_content. It worked kind of… but what happened was, the homepage still shows placeholders for the landscape featured image. So the format looks like this:

Landscape featured image first
Post title, date, etc.
First picture of the post
First few lines of the post cut off by the more tag

Is there a way to remove the placeholder of the featured image that still shows above the post title so that all that shows are the title, date, etc + first picture plus first few lines?
