Please note that as of this moment, the BuddyBoss Platform is not yet fully compatible with Multisite, thus, it is not yet guaranteed that BuddyBoss Platform along with BP Auto Group Join will work well in such setup. But we have already added this issue to our GitHub but no timeline yet.

BP Auto Group Join setting is limited to Join New Registration and/or Join Existing Members, that can be found per group. As for the fatal error, can you enlighten us what the error says?

Hope you are doing well.

Can you try deactivating your plugins systematically except for LearndashLMS, BuddyPress, and BuddyPress for Learndash? There might be a conflicting plugin causing the issue. We also suggest that if you have some modification on your theme try removing them also.

The Member Type feature is already included in BuddyBoss Platform, so you don’t need to install BuddyPress Member Types plugin.

In BuddyBoss > BP Auto Group Join dashboard, there is a setting that you could turn off BuddyPress Member Types.

Also, if you have an existing BuddyBoss Account, please create a ticket so our team can check your concern.

@zatakk BP Auto Group Join released v.1.0.4 last October 22.

@ershadzolfi what Theme are you using? If you have a BuddyBoss account, you can send a ticket to our Support Team via My Account > Tickets, so we can check your concern.

We tested this on our environment and auto joining on registration and mass joining on Groups > Join Existing Members works fine on our end.

Could you specify what BuddyPress filters are not working?

We have BuddyPress for Learndash installed on our demo and the filters on Members page are working: https://demos.buddyboss.com/social-learner-learndash/members/

Have you considered deactivating all your plugins except for BuddyPress, LearnDash and BuddyPress for LearnDash and activating them one by one to find out which plugin is conflicting?

Also, if you have done some modifications in your theme, please remove them first and check whether the filters are working.

We tested this on our demo and it worked fine

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
  $("#members-group_leader, #members-student").hide();
});

We also added some CSS to hide the toggle tab to achieve this

You could use something like this

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
  $(".yourClassHere").hide()
});

Since we don’t know the class used, you could replace the “.yourClassHere” class with your own and save it in your JS file.
