We have checked that the “Select by member type” option is working properly. First of all, you need to select the option Select by member type then save the group. After saving, you will see the member type checkboxes there and you can able to select the member type for that group to auto join. Please refer to my screenshot: https://prnt.sc/10smpoa

You can ignore the warning for installing the Member types plugin, the Auto join members to group should work as expected.

The team has intended to make the search functionality to be working for exact queries only.

The best thing we can do now is add this for feature enhancement but any timeline is not yet guaranteed as this will have its own priority

Hi,

It should return something when if you put “adams anderson” in the search box.
But you need to make sure that “Buddyboss all component should be activated along with enable all the option of Item for search component in Global search plugin setting.”

Please note For example there is string with “adams anderson” two word, it should work while searching. But if there is string like “adams anderson test”, if you will search “adams test”, it should not work.

Are you using BuddyPress for LearnDash with BuddyBoss Platform Plugin?

If Yes, Let me share this info with you that you don’t need this plugin with BuddyBoss Platform since it is already inbuilt in the BuddyBoss platform.

Please refer to this tutorial.

Please remove BuddyPress for LearnDash plugin and it will remove the duplicate My Courses menu item.

@ccarner The plugin to work requires BuddyPress Member Types plugin, it can only auto-join the members if BuddyPress Member Plugin types is active.

So you’ll have to install and activate the plugin.

Kindly use the following function snippet to override the number of items per page shown on your search result:

function custom_bboss_global_global_search_per_page( $retval ) {
  $retval['per_page'] = 50;
  return $retval;
}
add_filter( 'bboss_global_search_search_page_args', 'custom_bboss_global_global_search_per_page' );

You can increase the number per page to your liking to avoid the pagination.
