The idea is great, but unfortunately the plugin is completely useless in its current version. It destroys the theme

We’ve been working on improving known problem areas in order to make the plugin compatible with most of the themes.

If there are any specific examples of problem areas between plugin and theme you want to share please do list them so we can address them.

We recommend to activate BuddyPress Edit Activity and BuddyPress plugins on the same site.

In your case, I would recommend to activate the BuddyPress Edit Activity on a sub-site where BuddyPress plugin is active.

Course participants automatically get added as members to the group once you assign a course to the existing group and they can access course, groups, forums from the menu under course page.

If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

You’d probably have to write some custom code to exclude search form on your part. Nothing like this out of the box.

The global search form initialize on line #6 in /buddypress-global-search/assets/js/buddypress-global-search.js

I would expect that once a user is member of the associated group she would be automatically enrolled in the course.

It would be inverse of that where once a user start taking a course they would be automatically added in the group.

Here is my multisite configuration.

1. Added following line in wp-config.php

define ( 'BP_ROOT_BLOG', 2 );

2. Activated BuddyPress, Learndash LMS and BuddyPress for Learndash on blog id #2 (sub site)
