In reply to: [JC Submenu] Not compatible to WP 5.3?@michebia Thank you for the hint. I jope the next release will have a fix and not just overwrite this workaround.
I have the same issue using Generate Press Theme, latest WP and Elementor. It happens in empty pages, there is no huge content loading before the full-width javascript loads. Still the image loads with white space left and right and then suddenly resizes to full width (1920 resolution). The image is even wider than the content box with before resizing itself to full-width. It looks terrible.
The suggestion of jedp621 didn’t help. My page is set to Elementor Full width, the image still resizes after loading.
Thank you very much for this answer. I will try to be patient and wait for an editor reqrite then. In the meantime I will handle my tables offline and do an import when necssary.
The Cell Data shortcode is currently an unrivaled feature – even NinjaTables and WP DataTables don’t have a similar feature that allows you to deliver content from a table to the page. Most table plugins only deal with displaying full tables.
Although I guess even TablePress was never intended to be abused as a database like that ??
Thank you so much

In reply to: [Simple CSS] The link you followed has expired.I played around with several css plugins recently and found that after reinstalling Simple CSS or any other plugin of that category the old CSS code is back again, when activating it. I expected the CSS to be gone from the database or a leftover plugin folder (?) after uninstalling Simple CSS.
I am working with the WP Customized CSS now, which is rather uncomfortable (very slim pane, code colorization hard to see).
Can I somehow manually get rid of everything that Simple CSS and other CSS plugins left in my database and then try a clean reinstall of Simple CSS?
I have no other server to test. It worked for a long time now on raidboxes, I guess I messed it up somehow within WP.

In reply to: [Cool Timeline (Horizontal & Vertical Timeline)] ExtenD yearsThank you,
I have the PRO version and already started using custom dates/labels. Yet, I found this a quite tedious workaround. Giving every single date a unique order number to display in the correct order is very difficult if you handle several hundred dates. Also, you can only assign 199 order numbers, your timeline will be limited to 199 entries. If, for any reason, one custom date needs to change its place in the timeline, it’s impossible to rearrange 198 other dates by hand.
I guess the plugin was not exactly built for creating fictional far future event timelines with many entries…

In reply to: [P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler)] Be careful with this pluginYes, had to use ftp connection and delete the complete plugin folder.
Checking the source code generated you find that then su_box title element is getting a style like this by default:
.su-box-title {
display: block;
padding: 0.5em 1em;
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 1.1em;
}Try to overwrite the settings (font-size) in custom css for your WP/theme. I found, though, that the output still uses the default style settings, regardless of what I write into my custom css (using Plugin My Custom CSS). It may work for you, though.

In reply to: [Flexi Pages Widget] Related Pages & Hierarchy Not Workingsame problem…it seems one doesn’t get much attention here…
where do you have compatibility mode? I go to Shortcodes > Settings and I have:
Custom formatting (disabled)
Skip default values (enabled)
Shortcodes prefix (now empty)
Skin (default)Save changes button and restore default settings button.
What is called “compatibility mode”? The case when you enter a custom shortcode prefix? Is that disabled when this field is left empty?
thx Boris
maybe I misunderstand how the plugin works: does it send a weekly digest ALWAYS, regardless if there were new posts or changed posts during the current week? And will it then simply pick older posts as it doesn’t find any newer posts?
And is this same behaviour intended for pages?
Actually we don’t use much posts as the site is not a blog. We update/create pages regularly though, and I thought Subscribe2 could be used to send a weekly digest about the new/changed pages of the ongoing week only and not pages that have been created/changed prior to the current week. ??? I’m confused, I just can’t find a reason why it always sends out old stuff (it actually creates a new weekly digest every week, but that one contains old pages in the linklist, pages that haven’t been touched in a months).
Shouldn’t it omitt a digest completely when no new posts/pages and no updates have been made in the last 7 days?
best regards
Boristhanks for your reply. I did that and it continues to send out mails with really old content (today including a single post daten may 2012).
I don’t know where to check what might be wrong. We are not excluding any categories. I switched number of recipients per email back to 1 now, it was 0 all the time, but I doubt this is the issue.
Also I am testing wpMandrill now. Our WP is being hosted inhouse on some of our own Unix servers, admins do have problems providing typical WP functionality like WP update though… I hope problems don’t come from any restructions or server settings I can’t manage.
You wrote somewhere that the actual hosting server is responsible for processing of the emails (and for resending them sometimes), I hope I can get around that by using the Mandrill API.
disabling compatibility mode didn’t help me. and besides, after manually inserting dozens of su_shortcodes into my pages, I simply can’t disable compatibility mode and rewrite all shortcodes manually…

In reply to: [Websimon Tables] Conflict with Pagelines Frameworkforgot the effect: the table is rendered without (outer) border and hover effect. vertical and horizontal lines work, as well as colors.
yes problem still exists. I have Version 1.31.2 installed on WP 3.6.1, can’t find anything newer than that. I used Thunderbird as well as eM Client to open the mails.
