Ok, thanks for that. You were certainly looking at the right site. I will do as you say right now! Will let you know what happens. Thanks very much for taking the time to check this out.

Thanks for that. Just to finish this up …I have a few images uploaded, so then I went to Table X and XI and displayed all the fields so I could see what codes attached to what. Then I went back and displayed just the ones I wanted. I then went to IXB4 and just typed in the code for the field that I wanted displayed and used some of your code from here https://wppa.opajaap.nl/iptc-and-exif-data/ to bring in my IPTC keywords into the description but to hide them. So now search works perfectly!

Just thought I should explain that for others who might come along. Hope it helps.

Hi, I must admit I am having the same problem with lightbox not working. I do have wppa in Table iX-A6 but there is no sign of life. The theme is Noteworthy and I have SEO Ultimate (plugin) installed.

The more I work with your plugin, the more I can appreciate what a great amount of time and effort you have put into it. Would have to be the best I have ever seen for images!!

Hi Seacoast, I just did as you suggested and nope, still not working. I had that suspicion because I have used the same theme and same plugins on another site and all worked ok there.

Excellent, many thanks! I have now read that doc and it makes a good deal more sense. There are just two things that I need to do –

    1) I would really like to be able to write some of my IPTC fields into your image fields. Basically IPTC Title = your image Title, IPTC Description = your image Description.
    2) Then just that search ability to use the IPTC Keywords field on the images. I am not very good at coding, so I might need a suggested syntax!

I think these two items would be great to put into the wish list because if anyone does what I do, and have all their image data written into these IPTC fields, then it saves a great deal of time to import them. I think it’s pretty much what Flickr does at the moment.

    Many thanks

Actually, I have no idea how you set up the search! You have to specify a page for the results, but then that page appears on the menu – with nothing in it etc. Do you have a detailed description of how to set up search as it appears on your test site, please?

Hi, I have worked out the above and can see what to do now! Not sure how to delete the query!

I do have another – I want to be able to use the IPTC keywords on my images in your Search facility (Search Photos). I have looked at some of your script but I don’t understand enough to work out how to do this. I presume that I need to a) import the keywords and then b) write them into a field that is searchable. It is the second part that I can’t do. Is there a simple script that I can use and where would I put it?

Many thanks for a superb product!

Wow! Thanks Eryckx, maybe it’s something to do with me being logged in. I should delete cookies etc and see if I can look at it as a standard user – must be adding the extra just for my benefit!
I had a look at your site and yes, it is coming up with a couple of lines of error code (very different to what I see with mine at this end). I’m afraid I have no idea what it’s doing. We need someone more knowledgable!!! Thanks again, B

I presume it is feedburner! I have done the same as eryckx – upgraded to 2.7.1
Kmessinger – not sure what you mean!? Maybe I shouldn’t be using that term! It’s just when you try setting up for the rss, you get the message. If you want to see it firt hand.. auswildlife.com

Actually I think I have found the problem. The MySQL is not set up properly. So I might end this topic and post at a later stage if I continue to have dramas. Ta Figaro for your interest.

    The host is Darkscape.net
They seem pretty good. Mine is a relatively basic package but it has MySql (which I have set up) so should be ok.

I have tried that as well. In fact I have tried a few different combinations to see if I could get in there. I can post an actual link to the website if you want to have a look, but at the moment, you only see an old html website that needs to be trashed!

Sorry, that first line is a bit confusing!!! I should have said that the wp files are sitting in mydomain.com/public_html/blog and that the other html pages are under public_html !!!

    Ok. In this forum.

I am curious about this as well. I have a similar problem, only my main website (html) is sitting in mydomain.com/public_html/blog and I can’t get to it ‘404 not found’. I already have an index.htm sitting in mydomain.com/public_html. Any suggestions?
