@cfinke I don’t use Jetpack, but I’m pretty sure that my CPU overload is due to the WordPress theme I’m using. I read some negative reports on the internet about the theme. So, first, I will replace it and test again.

My website is also leading to 100% ultimately. I contacted my hosting company and they said that Akismet has been running some slow scripts.

The same happened to me today when I tried to update to version 2.0.10.

Details:
Current version installed: 1.2.2
Wordpress version: 4.8.1
Workaround: I had to rollback to version 1.2.2 (thank God there was a backup!).

Indeed, it was fixed!
I updated to version 2.4.2 and now the plugin is working perfectly.

In my ‘wp-config.php’ file, there’s already this line:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);

And still it keeps on showing that message.
But, if you’re going to fix it in the next versions, I’ll wait for the update, no problem! ??
