Aert reply is ok
Hi Aert,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply. OK for dismiss and categories on first layer.
As always with the CNIL, it’s not clear…
The phrase is here :https://www.cnil.fr/fr/evolution-des-regles-dutilisation-des-cookies-quels-changements-pour-les-internautes but in french, and is :
“The first rule is that, before the Internet user accepts cookies, the site must inform him/her, in a clear and synthetic way, of what they are going to be used for: personalized or non-personalized advertising, geolocalized advertising, content personalization or information sharing with social networks.”
In this document, paragraph 2.1 13, https://www.cnil.fr/sites/default/files/atoms/files/recommandation-cookies-et-autres-traceurs.pdf, you will find more precisions like:
For ease of reading, the Commission recommends that each purpose be
highlighted in a short and highlighted title, accompanied by a brief
descriptive. Examples of how to comply with the applicable rules are
presented below, in a non-exhaustive way:If the tracer(s) is (are) used to display personalized advertising, This purpose can be described as follows: “Advertising
personalized : name of the site / application] [and third party companies /
our partners] use / use tracers to display advertising
personalized according to your navigation and your profile “.If the tracer(s) are only used to measure the audience of the advertisement
displayed, without selecting it on the basis of personal data, the
data controller may use the following wording: “Advertising
non-personalized : name of the site / application] [and companies
third parties / our partners] use / use tracers in order to
measure the audience of the advertisement [on the site or application], without you
profile ”I also find that to show the purposes of each cookies on the first screen is not possible. The average user will not understand anything.
So I think what you did is ok with their requirements.

In reply to: [WP2Static] jquery is missing errorI reply to myself. Jquery is included in the static files in the wp_included directory.
I think that the Async Javascript plugin defer the jquery file and some plugin / theme try to use it before it has been loaded. I just to add an exception for this file in the async plugin.
Bjr,
même pb ici. Vs avez trouvé une solution ?
Merci

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] Cookie Consent and GDPRHi,
Thanks @gisle and @homegrownandy for this discussion. I finally understand what can be done with cookies on website.
As I wanted to anonymise IP in the Google Analytics tags, I understand I can use plugin like Cookie Consent with soft consent (non explicit).
A last question as you know plenty on the subject: I understood that the user should have the possibilities to consent for specific cookies and decline others and could reverse his choice. This is the case on the CNIL website with the plugin tarteaucitron.js. But plugin like Cookie Consent doesn’t allow that, so is it not a problem ?
Thanks

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] A bit ConfusingJust installed the plugin on two websites. It’s super easy. Really, I can’t how it can be easier. Great jobs guys !
Hi,
Am I really the only one having this problem ?
Because I check all my website one by one and the bug is on every website.
If you have the option “Validate the email address” in the “require” part of the field in the form editor, it doesn’t work on mobile. I works ok on tablet and computer.
Thanks for reply and if you do some other tests

In reply to: [Invoices for WooCommerce] PDF take a long time to make with logo imageHi Bas,
I saw that I manage refund but the way it does it does not correspond to the legal french way.
In your case, you delete the old invoice and generate a new one with the refund. The problem is that in my case, I can have products with different tax rates. So if I just tell Woocommerce to do a refund of 100$, I will not tell me on which product to apply, so the TVA refunded will not be ok.
To do that, I have found a plugin which allow to “modify” the order. Not exactly modify, but allow for each products of the orders to tell which one and in which quantity have to be refunded. So, the VAT corresponding to these products and with the good rates and so the good amounts are updated.
Moreover, in France, you have to keep all created invoices. So, in this case, you have to keep the old one and to generate a new one with the refund informations. It’s not an invoice but a credit note.
Your plugin is really cool ?? I think you are in the good way to make a complete plugin, but I know it’s a lot of work.
