Bump – Anyone ???
Thanks Marcus – that I understand, I guess that there is no way to manually remove orphaned events from a previous install if they are not showing in the current events list? If not, don’t worry, I can live with it.
OK thanks. Angelo – Not sure how I attach a screen shot.
Marcus – thanks for that tip, but I have no idea how to access the table directly – I use my hosting portal which only allows me to delete and recreate the whole WordPress SQL db!Don’t worry about this one any more, I will live with it!
The my bookings page only shows the CANCEL option for events that I have created with the recently installed version – The original version had three events that I created and these show up in my bookings, but no option to CANCEL or remove. Its like the old version left ghost entries in the db when I de-installed it.
That’s the problem, the bookings only appear in my bookings, not available to delete in he system list, nor do the events appear as past events.
I am so sorry – But I do not understand what you are trying to tell me to do. I have no pages assigned, but I am using short codes within standard WordPress pages.
Again another great feature – would buy Pro for this.
That would be a great feature – thanks.
Thank you, good suggestion.
My original question was badly worded – I should have said that I would like to see bookings being authorised based on the EVENT setting not a system wide setting.
I.e. Invite to meal in park, open to everyone to book, but poker at my house having to have pre-approval.
Great advice, worked a treat. Thanks.
Should have added that this code is within a standard WordPress page – I am not using EVENT pages that auto update.
Yes, have tried creating standard page, setting it to a password page and then adding the shortcode – But the page will display to any user (logged in or not) with the word PROTECTED above the list of events that the shortcode generates?
Am I missing something?
Have tried that but that does not seem to work, with me def logged out, I access the page that is password protected with WP with the shortcode and get it displayed even though the page header displays PROTECTED as WP acknowledges that it is a password page.
Worked a treat – thank you.
