I have a similar problem – but it’s just with #_bookingspaces appearring instead of the number.

had 2.2.2 installed – tried upgrading to 3.0 then 3.8 – but it thought that 3.8 was 4.8 … tried deleting all the tables in phpmyadmin (dbem and em prefixed) so I could do a fresh install – but I still get the “Events Manager upgrade not complete, please upgrade to the version 3.0.96 or higher first from here first before upgrading to this version. We made a screencast to help you out.” message – any ideas.

I just want a fresh clean install – forget the upgrade, it’s too late.
Any ideas?

Well it seems to activate now – but still causes a major bug in my site by spuriously appearing in a text widget where I have this code for a newsletter sign-up form: <?php
$content = apply_filters(‘the_content’, ‘<!–phplist form–>’);
echo $content;?>

So I’m reverting back to the 2.2.2 fixed version … again.

Don’t get me wrong – it’s a great plug-in – I love it – but since 2.2.2 – I haven’t been able to get it to work 100%.

Well the main problem has been that it won’t reactivate after I hit ‘upgrade automatically’ … though I have yet to try it with your latest version.

v2.2.2 does all that I need it to for the time being.

I’ve switched off debug mode and it now seems to be working fine …

Thanks Kbudiarto – this was driving me nuts – almost every slightly poorly coded plug-in was causing havoc … and all I had to do was switch off the debug!

I’m currently trying to use wp-commerce on a French installation, but like most people have discovered the results are far from exceptional, the standard shipping and language options are frankly diabolical. Hoping someone will come up with a shop to rival virtuacart or ubercart on WordPress.

I have the same issue on version 2.9.2 using 2.0rc. TinyMCE advanced activated – but no difference.

ditto. I would recommend returning to 2.0rc however as 2.1 is also v buggy.

Still hoping this will be fixed though – as it is an excellent plug-in in theory. My only issue with version 2.0 is that the event details (notes) section is inactive on the add event screen.

wow, what a waste of time – installed the plugin then lost my site! Deleting the wp cache entry in the config file brought it back up.
