Hi @ozkrsanchez,
Thanks for reaching us,
To change the color of the text while keeping it in the center, please use the following CSS Code inside WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
.sl-caption, .sl-caption a{
color: #f9c100;
text-align: center!important;
}Regarding the option to open the link in new tab, with other lightbox we have deprecated the use of target=”_blank” as an allowed HTML attribute.
With this, we have however allowed to automatically add it to all links in the Pro Lightbox. This ensures all links open in a new tab without needing extra setup.
As the Pro Lightbox is part of the paid version of NextGEN Gallery, could you please drop us a line through our contact page when you get the chance?
I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the www.remarpro.com support forums for the free version, but I really appreciate your help!
Thanks ??
Hi @johnrode,
Thank you for reaching out,
As you can see from the screenshot here, when opening the image on the lightbox mode, the close icon appears allowing you to close the image and redirects to the thumbnail displaying page.
However, if you’re looking for some other options, please let me know and I will get back to you.
Thanks!
Hi @freggel78,
Thanks for reaching out,
I checked this with the dev team, and I will add this to the list of warnings and deprecations.
In the meantime, you can turn off debug mode if you enabled it manually somewhere, or you can ask your hosting to deactivate it for you, so the log stops clogging.
Let me know how it went.
Thanks.
Hi @harry_034,
Thank you for reaching out,
To make the gallery image clickable, please navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Envira Gallery > Choose Gallery > Configuration. Enable the custom link option as shown in the screenshot here.
Enabling the option allows image to be clickable and redirects to the link you have added for each image.
I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks! ??
Hi @gregl7,
Sorry for the trouble,
I suspect one of the plugins you’re using might be causing the problem, so please try deactivating all the plugins except NextGEN Gallery and check if the problem resolves.
Once you have found the defect plugin, please reactivate the other plugin one by one.
Also make sure you are using the latest version of both the NextGEN Gallery activated on your end since outdated version might have some issue like the one you mentioned above.
I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks!
Sorry for the trouble,
While checking from my end by adding the CSS code provided, the gallery images are centered on the page. In case this helps, please check the screenshot below:
If it’s not working on your end, please use the following CSS code inside WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
.ngg-gallery-thumbnail img{
margin:8px auto!important;
}Moreover, please make sure to add the code at the top of the additional CSS code in case any other codes has been added already.
Let me know the updates after adding the code and I will get back to you.
Thanks!
Hi @ozkrsanchez,
Thanks for reaching out!
With NextGEN Gallery, you can insert a link in the description using the <a></a> tag HTML to let the image open in the specific URL.
Under the description section of each image you can insert the HTML tag as <a href=”https://imagely.com” target=”_blank”>THIS IS THE LINK</a>
(Replace the https://imagely.com URL)
Thank you!
Hi @programmin,
Thanks for reaching out,
To get rid of the error appearing, I recommend re-installing the NextGEN Gallery on your setup.
To reinstall the plugin, please download a fresh copy of the latest NextGEN Gallery and, then replace the one from your site’s Dashboard > Plugins > Add new plugin > Upload plugin > Choose File (with the files’ override when being asked). Replace the file with the new one you just uploaded.
Install and activate the plugin.
Re-installing NextGEN Gallery wouldn’t affect your existing galleries.
Let me know the updates and I will get back to you.
Thanks!
Hi @aaa1898,
Sorry for the trouble,
The issue arises because NextGEN Gallery is not able to function properly without its database tables. The tables were dropped manually and didn’t created automatically even after reinstalling the plugin.
To fix the issue, could you please find the ngg_options key in the wp_options table and delete the ngg_options row. Once done, reactivate the NextGEN Gallery plugin, which will trigger its installation routine, recreating the necessary database tables.
I hope this helps! Could you please let me know if you have any questions?
Thanks!
