Hi @eochoa,
Thanks for reaching out!
In order to better assist you, could you please provide us with the Site URL of your website? Once we have the URL, we’ll be able to investigate and provide you with a more accurate solution.
Thanks!
Hi @mbsharp,
Thanks for reaching out!
While checking on our setup we couldn’t replicate the issue while using the PHP 8.1 and NextGEN Gallery. I suggest you download a fresh copy of the latest NextGen Gallery and, then replace the one from your site’s?Dashboard > Plugins > Add new plugin > Upload plugin > Choose File?(with the files’ override when being asked) to see if that’ll fix the issue?
Re-installing NextGen Gallery wouldn’t affect your existing galleries.
Thanks!
Hi @kjellst,
Thanks for reaching back,
I suspect one of the plugins you’re using might be causing the problem, so please try deactivating all the plugins one by one and check if the problem resolves.
If the problem is solved, then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please reactivate one by one and check after each to find the one causing the problem.
Let me how it went and I will be back accordingly.
Thanks!
Hi @matija1506,
Great to hear that everything’s working with the new galleries created.
Let me know how it goes after you copy the content from older galleries and I will get back to you accordingly.
Thanks!
Hi @kjellst,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Upon checking, it seems to be an issue from the Elementor plugin rather than the NextGEN Gallery. Could you please try once deactivating the Element Cache on Elementor plugin settings and check if it helps you or not!
In-order to do so, navigate to Elementor > Settings > Features > Element Cache. Deactivate the cache that might resolve the issue.
Thanks!
Hi @matija1506,
Thank you for contacting us, I’d be happy to help,
In-order to fix the issue, please ask the hosting provider and ensure that the?wp_ngg_pictures > PID?is set to?auto-increment.
Once that’s done, try uploading some images to any of your galleries and let me know if this fixes the issue.
Thanks!

When you have a moment, could you let me know what we could do to earn that 5th star from you? I’d love to share your feedback with our team and possibly offer some suggestions to meet your needs.

Hi @konstantinus,
Thanks for reaching us,
There is no set limit to the number of galleries or images you can have in NextGEN Gallery. The capacity is fully dependent on your hosting and server resources. As long as your server can handle the storage and processing requirements, you can add as many galleries and images as you need.
However, please note that the NextGEN interface might become a bit cluttered with a large number of galleries, albums, and images.
I suggest you contact your hosting provider and request an increase in your server limits that might help you fix the issue.
Thanks!
