And with regard to your own steps for checkout, I also do not have separate pages for all the mentioned 3 steps:

“Step 1 : Checkout View; Step 2 : Billing Info; Step 3 : Proceed to payment”

I also have just 1) Cart 2) Billing info + Login + Proceed to payment (external provider) which is very common if you ask me (perhaps the default setting in WooCommerce?)

However, it could be that the Enhanced eCommerce tracking code is able to “see” what fiels visitors are filling in and where they stop. But I do not know.

Maybe it is not necessary for a visitor to go to another page in order to track it?

Maybe others have ideas on this ??

    Hi Jimmy,

I am also curious about what the author of the plugin has to say about it.

I recently installed the plugin and inserted the necessary data in the settings tab (WooCommerce –> Integration tab). By the way, I have adopted the standard Universal tracking code via custom JS option in my theme.

So far all data is dripping in, except for the shopping behaviour analysis, which consists of shopping behaviour and payment behavior. Both Google Analytics reports relate to the set up funnel in the Google Analytics admin panel of my account.

So something goes wrong, but where? I guess it has something to do with the 5 steps I set up in my funnel? Or another conflict somewhere?

I read that in the Google Analytics Knowledge Base you can add labels to the funnel for the predefined steps in the Enhanced eCommerce tracking code, that is, the tracking code set up by the author of this plugin.

So I guess your mentioned 3 steps above are sort of the mandatory options? And also the amount of maximum steps.

Because, how can you ever track something more if it has not been set up in the tracking code in the first place? ??

I hope the author is willing to clarify on this topic.

Last, I am very grateful for the existence of this plugin. So thank you dear author ?? I actually got very lost in setting up the tracking script manually. Too hard for a non-developer.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply!

    Best regards,

    Hi Mike,

Yeah sorry, did not mean to be offending or whatsoever. I aapreciate your input and it seems you last post contains the answer. I was hoping for a more easy way, but this will do it.

    Thank you!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for replying. You correct in the way that ProEdit imports the new strings, but without the translations.

So I end up with a new PO file that contains all the English strings, my own translations, but also 167 missing translations – even though they are available in the other PO file.

Apparently ProEdit does only import default strings and not the translations. Or am I missing something?

    Thanks,
