    Hello,

    thank you for your message.

Could you please tell us which WordPress and PHP versions you use? We would also like to know which login method you use.
It would also be very helpful to know how exactly you get the error. Which steps are you doing?

    Best regards,

    Hello,

it seems that the error is caused by WordPress blocking the request needed to activate Speed Kit. To that end, the plugin needs to send a POST request to the domain makefast.app.baqend.com as well as bbq.app.baqend.com.
In the cases, we have seen this before, the request was blocked by a security plugin.
If you could provide your domain and a list of installed plugins, this would help a lot. If you do not want to share this kind of information in the forum, just contact [email protected].

    Hi Jef,

happy to hear that Speed Kit makes such a great performance impact.
You are right, Speed Kit can sometimes interfere with 3rd party plugin. We are working to include default rules for most plugins so they work out of the box. We will take a look at the plugins you mentioned and include them in the next release.
Until that, you should be able to easily fix both plugins yourself by adding the wishlist and compare list URLs to the blacklist.
    As an example:
If your wishlist URL is “https://www.mydomain.com/wishlist”, please add “www.mydomain.com/wishlist” to the “Blacklist URLs” in the Speed Kit Settings.
If you don’t get it to work or have other questions please contact us under [email protected]

If you have purchased a Plesk lisence it is highly recommanded to use only the Plesk extension without manually installing the WP plugin on your WordPress instance.

I checked your blacklist and the “/wp-admin” area should not served by Speed Kit. Is yout admin area accessible under a different URL?

    Hello,

Normally the admin pages are blacklisted on default.

Could you tell me the URL of your site?

    Best regards

    Hi @geek-goddess,

I just released version 1.12.5 of this plugin which only logs critical errors to the PHP error log now. I hope this works for you! ??

    Kind regards,

    Hi @geek-goddess,

thank you for your message! I am very sorry that you are bothered by our logging entries. I will change it so the log entries are only rendered if WP_DEBUG is active.

    Kind regards,

    Hi again, Matt,

it seems that your OpenSSL configuration is fine and the request should work.

According to this Stack Overflow question, it also may be a firewall issue… do you know if your hoster allows requests to 3rd party domains? If you can whitelist IPs on your own, these are ours:

    • 151.101.1.132
    • 151.101.65.132
    • 151.101.129.132
    • 151.101.193.132

Otherwise, maybe it was just a temporary issue. It could be possible that the problem simply resolves on its own.

I am sorry for all the circumstances, I hope we can get it to work!

    Kind regards,
    Konstantin

    Hello, Matt,

I hope you also had a merry Christmas and wish you a happy new year! I apologise for not answering until after the holidays.

The SSL error you see is triggered by your server, as we are establishing an encrypted HTTPS connection from your to our server to load the latest component for the Speed Kit plugin. For this you need the OpenSSL PHP extension. Do you have root access to your server and could you install it?

    Many greetings,

In reply to: [Speed Kit] Wp All Import

    (@baqend)

    Hi @woodentoys,

I took a look at WP All Import and started its trial. Speed Kit seems to work out of the box with WP All Import being installed next to it.

What use case do you want to be supported by Speed Kit? That Speed Kit Settings can be exported with WP All Import as well?

    Kind regards,
    Konstantin from Baqend
