Great help! The issue concerning distances between images and post’s text would interest me too.

In my case, backup worked as soon as I did not send it to a folder. Via mail it worked. To the folder D:\Backups” it did not work. So it was somehow related to write permissions on my servers backup folder. But I couldn’t figure out which one.

Then I changed the folder to a local folder under the WordPress installation.
(like D:\Parallels\Plesk Panel\Vhosts\caribbeancats.org\httpdocs\wordpress\backups\) It did not work.

It started to work, when I gave it a relative path: “backups\”. Funnily enough, afterwards the system sets the string itself to “D:\Parallels\Plesk Panel\Vhosts\caribbeancats.org\httpdocs\wordpress\backups\” but it still works!

Apparently it works now. I found the warning

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in D:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\wp-includes\user.php on line 254”

and found a solution for it. I followed the instructions under

So opening capablities.php and adding require_once(‘pluggable.php’); right after the opening <?php tag at the top of the file solved the problem.

Yesterday I was installing Google-Maps-Ready-Plugin and Ceceppa Multilingua. They might have caused the problem!
