The instructions you provided will affect the thank you page that is displayed after the MailChimp double-opt in email confirmation process. I believe she was asking how to skip the email confirmation process and just display a thank you page.

What is your web address? Or can you provide the form code you used?

Did the instructions from Boris help?

Have you considered having the submit button take the user to a thank you page instead?

Did that plugin work for you?

You can also make the MailChimp logo less noticeable by changing the background color of your template. You will still see the work MailChimp but you will not longer see the button around it.
