I did exactly what you said and the whole site was wiped out completely, so I had to re-upload it from my pc.

Now it’s back up but I’m still left with the same problem.

So here’s what I did: I changed the folder’s name from wp-content to just wpcontent and it still didn’t work.

SHOULD I GIVE UP ON THIS OR WHAT????

It’s been more than a week now and I can’t even start to think of the 100+ hours I’ve already put into that darn thing.

Am I overlooking something here?

At least now I figered out a way to install her logo at the top and now she likes it… ??

Why is it that whatever changes I make to the style.css file and after I’ve uploaded it to the server I can’t see the changes?

It simply won’t update. Is there something overriding that darn CSS?

(Did I ever tell you that I HATE CSS with a passion?)

Ok, I’ve configged the config file to the best of her taste but there’s still nowhere does it mention where to go or what to do to display her logo…

have any of you worked with that thing before?

Ok, now it’s installed. Boy that was fast!

All right, so now where do I go to install the top logo that she wants on all the pages of her site.

I guess there must be a config file in there somewhere…

I’m very comfortable with HTML, been doing it since 1995 but I’m NOT with css; in fact there’s nothing more that I hate than messing around with CSS… ?? I never could understand how that darn code works…

Anyway, the site is a permanent site, but the owner (a real estate agent) needs to be able to update listings easily and of course she only has a basic knowledge of couputer skills which is why I suggested WordPress in the first place.

If you think Sea Beast is better I don’t mind trying it. At this point I’m open to almost anything…

Can I get Sea Beast on the WordPress site? How much easier is it and why?

It looks a bit better in IE but if you view it in Firefox it’s an ugly monster if I’ve ever seen one…
