No problem, you will need to edit the plugin and add something like this to the end of the file bamboo-columns.css (adjust the percentages accordingly):

.column-third {
	display: inline-block;
	vertical-align: top;
	width: 28%;
}

.column-third.first {
	margin: 0 4% 0 0;
}

.column-third.second {
	margin: 0 4% 0 4%;
}

.column-third.third {
	margin: 0 0 0 4%;
}

The code goes in the same place as your content – in the main content editor.

For example:

[column-half-1]
This is where the content for the left column goes
[/column-half-1]
[column-half-2]
This is where the content for the right column goes
[/column-half-2]

To center content in WordPress make sure you are in the Visual editor tab, then highlight the required content and click the ‘Align Center’ button in the toolbar.

We will be testing it in the next few days if you would rather wait. However we don’t foresee any problems so you should be safe to use it on 4.2.2.

It sounds like there may be some content in one of the columns that may be affecting the layout. Images can ofter cause this if they have a fixed size, as they end up being wider than the column they are.
