@kushnamdev Thanks for that, first place I looked was the Inspector but missed that. I don’t remember doing that, but it would have been years ago, obviously something in one of the recent theme updates changed to create the problem.

Removing it fixed the problem.

What bright spark decided to make massive changes to the theme, a site I have been working on for 4 years is totally screwed up by this last update, things missing everywhere, column sizes changed, html links that no longer work on mobiles and some of them on desktop as well, it’s a total mess, did you let the apprentice loose on it ?

Many thanks for the reply, oddly enough I changed it to full width after it went haywire, and it didn’t fix it, but works now for some reason.

But checking it appears it was the width 101% causing that, funny how it always worked before the last update.

Ok thanks for your efforts, hopefully WordPress will sort that out soon.

Well you learn something new everyday, I never knew I could move the images around within the gallery itself, I never gave a thought to each image being a separate block and yes I can do that.

BUT, drag and drop still doesn’t work, I have done a screen recording for you to see, link below.

The not being able to access the Gallery problem is fixed, but the reorganise problem is still there, drag and drop doesn’t work, it just flies back to where it was.

I’m using Neve on a couple of sites and have this plugin installed, it’s been a huge pain trying to do anything since the last WordPress update, to add a photo to a gallery I have to deactivate the plugin just so I can actually see the gallery, then once the image is added the drag and drop feature to organise them doesn’t work, you can click on the image and drag it, but then it just flies back to where it was.

This morning I tried to update a gallery and after deactivating the plugin I can’t access the Upload button at all, this is driving me crazy.

I have taken a screenshot of what I see on the back-end with the plugin activated.

Ok, stumbled across the issue, it had to do with when I set up the hosting account and migrated the new site.

The original site and domain registration was with Godaddy, so when I created the new hosting it was assigned a temp domain and some urls still contained the temp domain name.

All sorted.

NOTE: I have solved the 2nd issue re the image window height.

Change the color to what ever color you want, this is blue, it will however change all of your link colors.

For the images, go to Customiser – Content Options and down the bottom of that check what is ticked in the Featured Images section.

Url’s have you changed your permalink settings to Custom ??

On reflection I might duplicate the block and modify it to show all posts instead of only the 4 most recent and add a button to the current one that says Read older posts and direct it to another page.

May as well if there is no easier way to do it in the block itself.

Not sure how to go about it, but where there is a will there is generally a way, been playing around with JS a bit lately, may be able to do something with that.
