You know, I meant to post this in troubleshooting. Thats what I get for posting at 5am in the morning.

A moderator can feel free to move it, I probably will get a better response in the troubleshooting forum and dont want to double post.

Yea, I posted in their forums.

Also for the record, the problem is with these versions, which are as of now all the latest:

    Tab Mix Plus version: .2.5.2
    Firefox: 1.5
    Wordpress: 2.0 RC1

As I said, I am sure this is a Tab Mix Plus issue not a WordPress issue was just posting here to alert others who may potentially suffer from the problem.

Crosspost on Tab Mix Plus forums:

Thanks for the numbers. Anyone else?

Off topic here, but A Small Orange is definitely getting bookmarked by me, they look pretty sweet. For now though I get a business account at e3internet for free from a friend, so until I outgrow them, thats where I am at.

I wasn’t trying to highlight the 0.039 difference, I am sorry it came across that way.

What I WAS trying to highlight was the above 0.3 count basically everywhere.

If, as you say, 0.3 in a shared hosting environment is about normal, then there is my answer! This is my first experience with wordpress (amazingly positive experience), and I was just making sure 0.3 was not very far above the norm, because it seemed a little high to me and I had no idea what the norm was. Thanks for the response. I’ll look into caching solutions ?? Not that it matters until my site gets a ton of visitors, which may never happen!

Anyone else want to chime in with their average load experiences?

Very cool. I knew there had to be a way to access the post contents without using the template tag that was requiring me to use output buffering, but I am still getting the hang of wordpress ??

Now I know I can directly access stuff in the $post array.

Using the new method, there is almost no increase in processing time, versus a big one otherwise. Thanks a lot!
