Hello Janco,
I am not familiar with the Polylang plugin. From your description it sounds like there must be a menu for each language, but you can use the same CPT for each, and it will translate. Is that correct?

I will take a look at this plugin and see if there is something I can do. Honestly I have not looked at it other than to test with new versions of WordPress in quite some time. I’m pleased that you find it useful.

Hi again,
I confirmed that there is some odd behaviour with quotes or double quotes. Ampersands seems to be working fine now. I’ll take a look again and see if i can figure out what is causing it.

Thanks for letting me know. I’ve added that plugin to ‘Known Issues’.

Sorry I did not see this issue until now. In the notes I listed the issue with multiple menus showing up:

“Ampersands and other HTML entites in titles can sometimes have curious results, such as multiple menu items.”

I will take a look at the bug. It’s been so long since I’ve looked at this that I really don’t remember offhand.

hmmm. tough to say. What version of WP are you using? What theme? I’ve just checked to make sure there is no conflict with WP 4.9 and seems to be working fine.

Let me know any info you can and I’ll see if I can replicate the problem.

that is an interesting suggestion. There is no existing API for the plugin now but that is a good idea I will try to implement.

To do it now you would have to mine through the code and pick out the relevant sections for your functions file.

No unfortunately there is only one menu per custom post type right now. I wrote this plugin based on a single-issue case, and didn’t consider using it this way. Good idea though. I will try to revisit it as soon as I have some time and implement this feature.
