Can you please try updating to the latest version, v2.0.7, and see if the issue still persists? You can do this by opening WordPress admin -> PLugins -> click on auto-update for Jetbackup plugin and update. Thank you!

I apologize for the lack of clarification. First, you will need to navigate to your website’s wp-admin page. From there, on the left side of the screen, you will see JetBackup. Click this and it will take you to your list of backups. Find the backup that you are trying to generate/restore, and you will see a column listed as “Actions”. Click the download button (this is the button with the downward pointing arrow) and select either the backup log or restore log (this will depend on which part of the process JetBackup is getting stuck for you).
Can you please provide us with the output of that log file here?
If you need me to clarify any further, please do not hesitate to ask!

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Can you please tell us which version of JetBackup for WordPress you are using? For example, the latest release version is 2.0.3. Additionally, can you please let us know when the backup that you restored was generated? If JetBackup WP restored old files, it is most likely because those files were on the site when the backup was generated. To restore a backup, you simply need to click the “Restore” button next to the corresponding backup that you would like to restore. Then you can select whether to do a Full Restore or simply restore the files or database respectively.

This is currently a known bug, and we have created an internal issue (JBWP-#80) for our development team to address this issue. There is currently a patched version of the plugin (v2.0.3.2) that addresses this issue, and the issue will also be resolved in the official upcoming 2.0.4 release. In order to receive the patched version, you can open a ticket with our 24/7/365 support team by emailing [email protected], and they can provide you with this patch.
