In reply to: [JetBackup - WP Backup, Migrate & Restore] SGBP Extractor not workingHello @tom2708
Thank you for contacting us! To clarify, BackupGuard has been rebranded as JetBackup for WordPress
Can you please try using the “Extract” option within the JetBackup for WordPress plugin itself instead of the SGBP extractor?
You will first need to import the backup. Once the backup has been imported, kindly select the Extract on the backup.
If you require further assistance, feel free to email our helpdesk at [email protected] or open a ticket in your Client Area.

In reply to: [JetBackup - WP Backup, Migrate & Restore] Jetbackup not restoring backupHello csmadhu,
Thank you for reaching out! To clarify, the error you received indicates that the source DB prefix doesn’t match the current DB prefix. This would be considered a migration and is unavailable in the JBWP plan you currently have installed. You can resolve this error by manually changing the current DB prefix or upgrading JBWP tiers.
Here is a guide to change the table prefix: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-table-prefix/
Feel free to explore the JBWP tiers at the following link: https://billing.jetapps.com/index.php?rp=/store/jetbackupwp

Just to clarify, BackupGuard has been rebranded as JetBackup for WordPress, and we no longer provide updates for any legacy BackupGuard versions. If you can, please provide the PHP version and the version of the plugin that you are using.

In reply to: [JetBackup - WP Backup, Migrate & Restore] Failed Restore OperationHi daviddelcastillo,
We’re glad to hear that you were able to recover your site!
We offer three additional tiers (Solo, Admin, Pro) besides the Free tier and you can compare them HERE. To summarize, these tiers offer scheduled backups, website migration (Admin, Pro), and access to more backup destinations. The number of sites that will be able to utilize the license depends on the tier up to a maximum of 30 websites.
Your interest in JetBackup for WordPress is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to supporting you in the future!

In reply to: [JetBackup - WP Backup, Migrate & Restore] Failed Restore OperationHello daviddelcastillo,
If you are able to, can you please provide the version and/or tier (Free, Solo, Admin, Pro) of the JetBackup for WordPress plugin that was used?
To exit maintenance mode, you will need to access the site’s root directory using FTP and remove the.maintenance
file. If a plugin/theme was causing the issue, you can check by disabling them and then activating each one individually.
Best Regards
The JetApps TeamHello,
I’m glad that I was able to clear up any confusion.
For further insight, we backup only the essential folders (plugins, themes, databases) in order to increase the restore reliability of the backups in newer/updated WordPress versions.
We appreciate your feedback and continued support for JetBackup!
Thank you,
The JetApps TeamHello mj,
To clarify, JetBackup for WordPress backs up only the essential files/folders in order to restore the website. This includes the plugins, themes, and database, and they are all contained in the wp-content folder.
For more information, please refer to our documentation HERE.

In reply to: [JetBackup - WP Backup, Migrate & Restore] Backup StuckHello kiwihawk,
Thank your for providing the extra information. If possible, can you please provide the full output of the log for the backup that was used for the restore? You can find this by going to JetBackup > Backups > Actions > Download > Backup Log.
Can you also please verify if the entry in the Crontab contents (found in the System Info. page) are correct?
It should be configured similarly to:SHELL=”/usr/local/cpanel/bin/jailshell”
* * * * php /home/{Account_Name}/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backup/public/cron/cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1 &
Thank you,

To help us troubleshoot your issue, can you provide us with the following information?
* What version was the backup generated in?
* What tier of the JetBackup for WordPress plugin is installed? (solo, admin, pro) [Can be found on the top right when on the JBWP plugin page]
Best Regards,
The JetApps TeamHi rkexcel,
Thank you for the quick updates. This issue was resolved in the current version 2.0.8.7, so this is unusual. So that we can investigate further, we would like to request that you open a ticket with our help desk by emailing [email protected].
When you open the ticket, please reference this forum post as well.
Best Regards,
The JetApps TeamHello rkexcel,
So that we can check further, can you please let us know the version number and package of our JetBackup for WordPress plugin you are currently using? You can find the version number on the top right after loading into the plugin.
If you are not using the free version, do you have any schedules configured?
Is there an entry for the Crontab contents found in the System Info. page.

In reply to: [JetBackup - WP Backup, Migrate & Restore] Error getting statusHello?@livingwild,
No problem, we are glad to help in any way that we can! The “Error getting status” message you are encountering occurs for backups created in an older version of JetBackup for WordPress.
In our latest updates, we have revised the way that the statuses are displayed causing JetBackup to be unable to read the backup status of old backups which utilize an older structure. Any new backups should properly show the correct status.Best Regards,
The JetApps Team
