When you see this, but you’ve manually spent a morning updating everything on the client sites by hand because version 5.9.6 applied the default maxlength validation rule to text fields ( text , email , phone number , URL and text box ) if they didn’t have a maxlength option. A default maxlength of 80 for text on a single line and 400 for a text zone. A maxlength option that had to be explicitly defined :
7 5.9.7 Increases the default?maxlength?value to 400 for a single-line text field and to 2,000 for a text area.
What a waste of time!
Hello,
Back with a bit of a delay, due to health problems. Indeed, with another browser I didn’t have the problem, except that almost everyone uses Chrome these days.
In fact, I noticed that when I wasn’t connected, the sites worked like a charm, but when the admin bar was displayed, it didn’t work very well anymore. I then realized that the problem lay with the AIO plugin shortcut in the admin bar. I tried to deactivate it on the client sites, but as it’s a function reserved for professionals, I couldn’t do it. So, since I don’t get paid for it, I did the simplest thing: migrated everything to another plugin and everything works like a charm again.
Thanks for your help.
Yes ^^, I have Windows 10 with the latest version of Chrome, the Classic Editor and the latest version of WordPress.

The same problem on all sites. Since the last update 6.2 of WordPress, it is impossible to open the pages to modify them. This makes Google Chrome crash after a while, AIO does not load at the bottom of the page, there is only the animation.
I have disabled updates on all the sites I manage. In the end there were 4 that updated themselves, without asking anyone for anything. It’s been a real mess since 3.7.1 <= And I chew my words !!!
If we had to compare the referencing to a Formula 1 race, the pit stop (the multitude of updates of your free or paying plugin) has just made us go from the first place to the eighteenth. A real disaster for a plugin that is supposed to help improve its SEO.

The sitemap works for the sites I manage, after I have done the tour because of the automatic updates without it being activated.Except that there is now <loc language=””> whereas before it was <loc> for version 3.7.1.
Hello? Hello? Anybody home?
What the fuck… I’m tired of this bullshit, I’m tired of your bullshit…

These extensions are now up to date :
– All in One SEO Pack (from version 4.0.8 to 4.0.10)There have been 2 of the sites I manage that have been updated, for the others, they are still with the old version 4.X or version 3 for one of the sites that had been crashed by the update a few days ago.
Receiving this kind of mail on Sunday when you wake up after a shitty week… It’s priceless!
And if you look on the security side, if it can update itself as it wants, it can also retrieve sensitive information, email addresses, connection information… A plugin which seems to have no more pilot on board !
Why? But why did you want to update your plugin just a few days before the holidays? In addition to having had a complicated year, we have to deal with the errors of the last updates. We have the impression that this was done by amateurs, trainees!
This allows me to understand that having too much dependence on a plugin can be harmful in case of problem!
