I would share a screenshot of my Whatsapp results here but don’t think I can add an image on this forum…. Facebook is working just fine as well, but not Whatsapp.

By the way, I’ve found out that a few more pages have this issue, though most of them are fine.

Thanks Joy! But that’s the stuff I already tried, and my theme doesn’t seem to have a support forum. I think I’m doing something wrong in the very basics of this process, but I don’t know what it is.

I’ve got the possibility to edit only my functions.php file because I’m using a child theme, is there any type of code I can paste in that file so that the category description shows up on the archive page?

That’s great, thanks for the tip!!! Only, I’m ashamed to admit, everything on that page looks like Chinese to me, being completely new to PHP. I have absolutely no clue what to do with the filter, which words to insert where, if you know what I mean. Could you maybe explain how to use the get_text filter with the code I pasted above? (Assuming that’s the right bit of code…)

Problem fixed, using the WonderPlugin Carousel, which has a text-only-option. Thanks for your help.

I have in fact tried multiple plugins, but they either don’t work (like the obvious ‘text slider’ plugin, it won’t slide when I click the arrows) or they don’t do what I want (one plugin for example makes the text slide up in stead of left or they’re not responsive) or they don’t support text, only pictures. I hope anyone can help me out….
