In reply to: [Team Rosters] Player Bio page using iFeature Themeyeah, I usually wait for the computer to tell me everything I’m doing wrong too. It must know, right??? (yeah riiiiiiiiiiight…)
I’ll be uploading your plugins to my clients site (still under construction) to see if my client is interested in using it in the future. I think they will want it-and I’ll know a bit more about it when crunch-time emerges..because like the computer that is smarter than we are? Short timelines always emerge!!!

In reply to: [Team Rosters] Player Bio page using iFeature ThemeI too use a text editor (EditPlus) rather than editing via WordPress; the colors make it easier to read with EditPlus and NotePad++ is much the same way. Like you, I’m perfect and I’ve never had to use a backup file ?? Truly I established an FTP connection, found the .css file I needed to edit, saved/overwrote the file, then tried to refresh the browser afterwards, it didn’t seem to take? Hmmmm..no no cool caching plug-in-but if you know of any I’m all ears.
I used to use FirePlug w/FF to view all browser tags (CSS, HTML, etc.) in the DOM, right now I just hit F12 on IE to see what’s what behind the scenes. I employ this strategy a lot for work-so I was aware of finding elements in this fashion. I rarely make changes (workwise) but perhaps I can do so with this site. Thanks for the tip. ??

In reply to: [Team Rosters] Player Bio page using iFeature ThemeMark
Nehaaaaaaa! That was much closer to what I need. I think I can finagle it from here to play a little nicer with my theme. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Can’t we all just get along??!!!FWIW: I didn’t realize I could edit the .css file within WordPress by going to the Plugins | Team Rosters | Edit. I tried to FTP over a edited version of the mstw-tr-style.css file with the changes you suggested and then selected overwrite-but the changes didn’t seem to take this way, so note to all who might need to edit their mstw-tr-style.css file: edit it WITHIN WordPress plug-in editor, do not just FTP over a different version of the .css file.
Thanks Mark, if I have further stumbling areas I’ll be sure to ask more q’s.
