I tried to send a message to a group with 3012 people in it. The page sat on “Queuing Messages…” for about 2 hours.
I broke the group down into parts and tried gradually larger member numbers in each batch to find the approximate maximum.
I reduced the size of the group to 500 and it worked no problem. The next batch I did was 1000 and that worked now problem.
The next batch I did was 1512.
After this I was out of people to send messages to. I assume there must be a limit somewhere in between. I’ll continue with 2k, 2.5k, etc next time I need to send out a message.
