In reply to: What file is the root directory inIts actually wordpress mu I am uploading, I wrote the question on the wrong forum, sorry.
I normally have no problem uploading through filezilla, (Banners, themes ect) its only when I double click on public_html folder, to move it to the box to transfer the script, it shows the cgi_bin file.
So I am hoping that if I just click once on public_html, and then transfer, hopefully she will transfer.Or
I could make another file (directory)call it say, wp, in public_html and put it in there.
Or am I a million miles away.Forum: Installing WordPress

In reply to: E Mail not sending passwords.I am receiving the emails to say there is a new member joined up. But the member is not receiving his emails with his password.
I was onto my hosting company and this is what they said,This is a requirement for our server and if you do it, the emails should be operational. If you have installed any custom plugins, you should refer to the wordpress support forum for further assistance on trouble shooting them.
We have thousands of wordpress sites hosted and once they have a valid email set, all of them are working fine.Is there any way around this or do I have to study the plug ins above that Shane G gave me, to get this working. I think its something simple, If I am being notified on new members, but they are not getting there’s that proves the emails are working. I also got the new member to check his spam box and its not in it.
Any help would be great,

Once you download that,(wordpress) uzip it, access the wp-content/themes and remove all themes folders. Then return to the main directory, select all files and folders and upload them to your site using ftp.
If you are unable to handle this, I would suggest you to hire someone to help you.Do you agree with what they are saying.
