I was thinking if i made a sub domain and made that sub domain private to read, well that covers what you say either anybody can read all posts, or everybody has to be logged in to read any post.

So if I do a sub domain how do I make that site private to view only for sign in members.

I changed it as you suggested in the comments.php file and it worked, thank you.

I must have changed some line, that is now causing me trouble, because now when I go to post it says auto draft. I checked those words here, and its trouble. But its only on my test site, so I am not to bad.

Can any one tell me the excact lines i change the word reply to the word i want, review, in the comments php file.

O did not know that. What then do they do.

They send the member to a link where they can set a new one?

If this is true, that link is not working for me and it says about the key?

How can I fix it that the linkl will fix the password.

Look to see if they have a plugin called role scooper installed. If they have on install it.

It seems to me that they have you (admin) restricted in what you can do and might have put another type of member, say subscriber, they might have giving them admin rights.

The best theme I think is Atahualpa, you can make it into anytype site you want. Large support forum as well,

<lt;I never used/needed WPMU so my motivation is a bit lower, but code contribution & donations may do the rest :-)>

Alexrabe are you saying that nextgen will not work right in wpmu.

I have it installed and I am getting the upgrade message on my main site, When I click to upgrade it, it then says its upgraded, but the message comes up again to upgrade any time I try to use nextgen.
On my sub sites it works. I am just afraid that it will stop working on my sub sites.
Should I delete the plugin or is there a solution to this problem.

Just a funny update. (By the way I am using wpmu)

My problem was caused by uploading a theme. (I have no plug ins)
I uploaded a theme a few days ago and it caused the problem. I deleted the theme and a few hours later the script worked perfect.

I uploaded a different theme yesterday, which again caused the problem.
I deleted the theme and 12 hours later the problem still persists.

Here is the funny bit. Blogs that I have made for my users (Wpmu) are working perfect its only the main site that has the problem.

So the reason I am worried is I think it also affects the emails been sent to new users. (I have tried and still waiting for the email with the new password to be received)

I have also noticed another problem. When I log into admin at my main site it is now diverting me to my test site.

    My host id PHP5

I have tried disabling the autosave. The problem with it, is that it does not fix the problem for pages, only posts.

Any updates or solutions for this problem.

    Thanks.

Hi, I did exactly as samboll said. Now my host is saying (I contacted them as the site was not showing up)

It is currently going into a redirect loop, which appears to be because of the directory structure that you’re using for the WPMU installation. Most likely, you will need to move your WordPress files to your public_html directory, in order to correct this problem.

After I queried them more, they said,
Currently I show you have the wordpress install in /home/siteseu/public_html/wordpress-mu-2.9.2/wordpress-mu

What I would recommend is to move the files one folder up so that the files inside of /wordpress-mu/ are in the public_html, instead of 3 folders down, so you basically want the files to be directly in /home/siteseu/public_html/

So do I have to move all the files again and if so excactly where do I have to move them to.

    Thanks for any help,

When I open folder public_html I assume I have to make a new folder to put it into, as it only shows cgi bin.
Or can I just transfer the files over, (they would show under cgi bin file)
