In reply to: [Adminimize] New Version released, Tests are welcome.Hi Frank,
I did that. Where do I see the results. Nothing showed or changed in the wp-config file. (I logged out and back in)
This is a fresh install of WP so I would be surprised if there is problems, saying that it works for you, so something must be amiss.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Adminimize] New Version released, Tests are welcome. No as admin I have access to the Adminimize Settings Page, when the bbPress plugin is active.
The author (the member) can not access the backend and gets the warning when trying to login. This only happens when the bbpress plugin is active.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Adminimize] New Version released, Tests are welcome.I am having conflict with bbpress plugin. I was getting the You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
I deactivated all plugins (except Adminimize) and reactivated them one by one, testing while I did. The plugin that is causing the warning is bbpress.
On the settings for bbpress I have not deactivated any permission.
(I also tested the theme, which was ok)Thanks

In reply to: [Sharify Social Share Buttons] Facebook share with correct Featured ImageCan you please explain this solution a bit more, I also have the same problem.
ThanksYou marked this resolved, but its not.
I deactivated ModSecurity and did two new installs,on two other domains, same problem. No other plugin installed and only default themes.
Thanks Paolo for reply. Its a fresh WP install, no plugins, except yours and WP default theme.
I use two hosting companies, it worked on one hosting did not on the other (the one I needed)
I came across this same problem with an event plugin. The hosting company that it did not work on has a security module, called ModSecurity. I deactivated the module on another site and installed geodirectory, and it worked. So I am nearly sure its the ModSecurity that is stopping geodirectory installing correctly. So I went back and deleted the plugin from the first site and reinstalled it, with the ModSecurity settings to off. It did not work, but it still had my dummy data set. So I need to delete the geodirectory files from the database.
If you could point me to the best and quickest way to do this, that would be great.
If a fresh install works, with modsecurity off (which I am very sure it will) it could help other people as well.A quick update, if anyone is worried about disabling the ModSecurity module,on their hosting, do not worry.
You need to turn it off when you are doing changes to the plugin settings. Once you have the settings changed, you can switch back on the ModSecurity module.
The plugin works perfect with it on, its only the settings that are affected.caimin_nwl
For your own information, and in case someone else runs into the problem, the problem was caused by the ModSecurity module on my hosting.
My hosting company disabled it and now the plugin settings are working perfect.Looks like its host. I use two hosting companies, I tried the settings of the plugin on a test site on my second hosting company and there was no problem.
Still problem showing with the first hosting, so its either hosting or some plugin I have on my site that is in conflict with the event plugin. But at this stage I would put my money on the security settings on the hosting. (this will be fun trying to sort this)
I have two, Bruteprotect and wordfence. I deactivated them, when I read your post, tried it again, but still get the 412 error.
I wonder is it security settings in my hosting, as it says on the last line, If you are the owner of the website, you can consider revising the rules of the mod_security module or turning it off from your Web Hosting Control Panel.
But why would your plugin be the only plugin I have this problem with.
