In reply to: Trouble trying to update pluginsThis is what I’m getting:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
I was finally able to get on using TorBrowser on another computer, but even there I couldn’t get on with Chrome, IE or Firefox. It’s all very strange.
I got WordPress updated and installed an antivirus plugin just in case. But that still doesn’t solve the problem of not being able to login at all from certain browsers.
I feel like I’m missing something.

In reply to: Trouble trying to update pluginsI’m even more confused now. Now when I try to go to my site it takes forever to load, but it does load eventually.
But now when I try to get into the WordPress admin I’m getting an internal server error. So I can even get in to the do the upgrades I need to do.
Is there a way to do an upgrade without having to get into the WordPress admin?

In reply to: Parse errorI was working directly in the wp-admin on theme function. Before I started I copied and pasted everything there into a text file, thinking if anything went wrong I could just copy and paste it back.
I.Was.Wrong.
So no, I didn’t save a backup of that actual file. Live and learn I guess. *sigh*

In reply to: Parse errorI think I did that right.
If I can’t copy and paste I think I should just stay off the internet.
