We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. The issue you are facing is not supposed to happen. Can you please confirm that you have added the categories in the shortcode, i.e., https://prnt.sc/d2N7LEwxiEWI? You need to select the categories first to show in the frontend.
We are checking the ordering of the events. It would be helpful for us to understand the issue of the event disappearing if you could provide a screenshot or a screen recording. Note that if the calendar selected date has any event, the current events will be showing instead of the upcoming events.

Typically, a cache plugin minifies the CSS and JavaScript files. Therefore, if the plugin’s JavaScript file is minified, the tab settings (JavaScript-based functionality) may not function correctly. You may try disabling the “Combine Javascript files” option from the caching plugin you are using. I hope it will solve the issue.
