This will be fixed in the upcoming release!
What is your desired functionality for such a feature?
Any plugin that interacts with the wordpress internal cron incorrectly can and will cause conflicts with scheduled tasks running
I’d love to collaborate on updates – shoot me a message!
Don’t worry – the plugin itself was not compromised nor vulnerable. This site was an dev install that wasn’t set to auto update security releases – that has since been resolved!
I am not aware of any issues with php 7. If you run accross any, please let me know.
I am testing currently on php 7.0.19 and WordPress 4.7.4 and everything is working for me. Will look at adding sort for the dates – actually something that’s been on my list!
Can you test on a vanilla install – only WP 4.7.3 and Post Expirator and report back the results?
Take a look at the other plugins that you have installed. I use the plugin daily, and it works on the latest versions of WordPress. Odd’s are, that one of the other plugins you are running is incorrectly trying to work with the cron system, and is causing problems.
What version of PHP are you running?
If you have any specific details about who / what is not working on vanilla 4.6 I will happily investigate. I have not had the time yet to run through full testing on 4.6. Most issues are not due to the plugin itself, but the server / environment that it is running on.
hmm .. have you checked your other plugins? I don’t do anything with output buffering.
Please include an error logs you have. Thanks.
Have you tried disabling other plugins to make sure there are no conflicts? It’s working for me on 4.3.1.
Sure. Any info/details would be helpful. My guess is likely something else is conflicting with this plugin, but we’ll see!
Have your been able to narrow down which plugin it conflicts with (or is conflicting with it)?
