I deactivated all plugins and reverted to Twenty-Eleven – no change.

Also, I have the same plugins on two other wordpress blogs with the same theme – I checked them again. Their feeds page loading OK.

I have a sinking feeling I will be deleting the entire site and re-installing.

I just reinstalled via dashboard. Still no change.
For https://janeellen.net/feed – it give a 404 file not found error.

I do not want to delete the entire install and start over, if its a specific file that is a problem.

@ Gangleri, I will try the revision-control first – it is 2.7 compatible so should be above criticism.

This is what was said to me on a support Live-chat
[6:02:35 PM]: Your account was shutdown due to a performacne issue
[6:02:45 PM]: You’re causing problems for the mysql server

So I presume it is a database problem on their server.

I have upgraded tp 2.7 and all my plugins are on the list of compatible for 2.7. It is the same theme I have been using for the last two years – Caotic Soul.

I am re-installing WP2.7 on a fresh database.
I do not know what else I can do as a user.

In my case it was the plugin for drop down menu – “Lighter menus”.
Its all working now.

Phew, I thought I had messed it up.

I uploaded the function.php from the Classic theme to the Chaoticsoul theme. It did not work.

Then I created a functions.php with this code in it.
