Thank you. I picked a phrase that could be easily found and unique. On the web if you’re not unique or providing something fresh you will go unnoticed.

My blog does utilize Twitter/Facebook but does not gain much benefit from them. Not at this time anyways.

The only thing I didn’t like about your website was that I had to do a lot of clicking before I actually got into your set of images, and by then I was almost a little not interested anymore.

It also, IMO, seemed a little weird to see “about” on the front page.

One other thing would be since you are a website about photography and pictures you logo seems a little bland being just text.

The site is simple, and to the point. Gets the message across of the product you are selling, or offering.

The big questions for me to be ansswered on your website would be why am I getting this from you? Is this a product that only you sell? Are you offering it cheaper then if I got it somewhere else?

I come across lots of sites that offer me things to download or buy, but they never really give me a real incentive to get it from them.

Lastly, what would make this product better then others?

Your site looks good. Looks very professional. I wouldn’t even notice it was a “blog” on first glance.

What I find interesting is that you have a website about current events, and also have conspiracy theories on it as well. The only downside to that being that some may not take your news posts serious because you bring about mention of conspiracy things.

On the front page is an article about Ron Paul, and then I see something about a UFO flying over the Beijing Airport.

I suppose in some ways it’s still relevant and is still current events.

The site looks good, but it looks a little dark for the type of website you are creating there.

I think your about page needs to be a little bit more detailed as to why you are offering tips on why you should follow the Paleo diet.

You say you offer tips and pointers to eat healthy but you have not really said why we should follow this diet? Did you have success with it? Did you change your life? How did it help? Things like that. Since it’s a healthy lifestyle and you have claimed people have lost weight on it with minimal exercise. You may want to show some pictures of before and after. Everyone loves a good before and after when it comes to losing weight.

You may also want to put a disclaimer that any diet changes should be consulted with a physician first. It’s always a good rule of thumb to CYA, especially in this day and age when people sue over anything.

The orange was the default cleanfrog theme from nearfrog. I just edited it to the blueish green. Glad that you like the article, and thanks for the nice words.

Now I just need to work on the getting more traffic part. Or it will end up fading into obscurity.

I have changed the color scheme some. I have changed from the Orange colors to a calming blueish green.

I’ve gone through I think four or five different themes so far. If I was familiar with CSS I would be able to design it better on my own. Unfortunately I do not so I have to suffice for already made themes.

I will look into something more calming and warm.

Thanks again glad you liked the content at least. That was the important part. Now I just need to get them to enjoy the whole thing.

I would have to agree with what the others have said. The green and black color scheme you have going on is very jarring to the eyes. For someone to spend time reading your website you want something that is not dark and almost brooding. You want a more neutral pleasing color scheme.

As well as the font being really big. The logo, to me, seems more like I am being watched then a logo that is showing off your website. I’m also not sure what the eyes have to do with “tools for website creation and commerce”

While you seem to have a lot of articles, or posts, on your page it seems that at first glance there is to much going on. You have about 30 seconds to capture the attention of a new visitor. In that time you want something that will draw them in and get their attention. With so much right there on the front page it’s hard to really know what a person wants.

Try and keep your site simple and easy to navigate. Once they have found what they are looking for they will stick around for the goods so to speak.
