Hi Daniel,
my best guess is that the theme you got doesn’t get the title via WP built-in internal functions (the_title() or wp_title() or $post_id->post_title and so on).

my plugin will only work on this.

you’re best bet will be to contact the theme creator and ask him about it. (i think if you purchased a premium theme then you are entitled for support as well)

it’s working fine on my end. are you sure you have clicked the update button after you have changed the toggle box to active?
(the plugin also supports auto-save after each toggle. you can find it in the setting menu)

lets do 2 simple tests (don’t re-enable after each step):
1) try to disable all other plugins.
2) try to switch to one of the default themes (twentyXX)

also please include the following information:
1) what version of WP
2) what version of the plugin?
3) what theme are you using?

this plugin only supports pages (no posts / custom post types).
i think you’re HP is showing posts. (in this case post-47 https://www.wpwebdesignmadesimple.com/wordpress/?p=47)

Note that it will still not work with Q&A because this plugin is intended for pages only – Q&A uses custom post types (like qa_faqs with the capability_type of post).

have you read the installation steps?

look at step 4:

go and edit any page you like – and you will find a check box (default is showing the title)

i know, but i for me it didn’t work in the trunk directory and it DID work in the assets directory ?? this is why i suggested it.

have you tried to put them in your assets folder?

from the Developer FAQ:

The assets/ directory is preferred since the screenshots won’t be packaged in the plugin’s release zip files, saving unnecessary bloat for each download.
