Thanks for the quick reply. I did regenerate my permalinks, but this didn’t help. What was strange is that I couldn’t access my pages with the directory in the URL or without the directory in the URL.

I wondered if the problem were the other files/directories in the site root?

Would creating too many pages cause things to load more slowly?
